We are so sorry not to have updated and mum has been going to do so. Our baby Alivia is home and now has started to do well. The phone call from yesterday was another two ounces gained so that is now four ounces. The diagnosis was septicaemia and thankfully the IV antibiotics got it sorted. Poor Alivia was looking like a contented baby but really it was the infection that was taking her nourishment and she was not just sleepy but ill. This picture was sent this morning and shows her awake and alert. Mum is hoping to get back down there next week after her night shifts and see for herself. Once again sorry for not updating but on nights it is either work or sleep with not much else in between.. We do though thank each and everyone for all your prayers and good wishes because they did help and they mattered a lot to us.. Love Carol and GJ xxx
