Hello everyone, as promised a quick update on mum.. Yesterday mum went to the hospital for all her pre operation checks. They did all the tests ECG, bloods etc. It seems her blood pressure was raised but that will have been stress she thinks. Next comes the biggy, next Wednesday the 23rd mum goes in very early for her surgery which will hopefully free her from the pain and discomfort.Mum is though not looking forward to a long recovery period were she wont be able to do a lot and needs to be off work at least 8 weeks.The bad thing about going in on the 23rd is that on the 24th mum will have a birthday and will be " whisper " 60 years young. Mum said there was no chance she would postpone as she has waited long enough. Dad is giving her a party on this Saturday night at our local pub, so she has this to look forward to. I will try and post for mum's birthday because hopefully although she will be in hospital she will be able to see the blog from her phone. ( dad said he may be able to take the net book in ) Sorry I am waffling today but just wanted to let everyone that has enquired about mum know what is happening..
