Now for the story of the dogs.. Mum was astounded that they were fast asleep an oblivious to the hundreds of people passing them by and actually stepping over them. The guide told mum and dad that they work guarding the Acropolis during the night. They spend the night unning about and barking, they are then tired in the heat of the day and sleep. Some of the positions they were lying in was funny.

First Day at High School..... Mixed pictures......

Hi everyone, a mixed bag today. Firstly I am overseeing operations today from my window seat.. I am showing mixed pictures and probably out of order. but hey take a look..

Yesterday Mollie bean started her first day at High School, she was so excited. Doesn't she look dapper....

Mollie bean first day High School, Lillie bean first day in second year. Lillie was so pleased because now she has her own drawer and it has her name on...

Istanbul, the blue mosque was stunning, the inside mosaics were just fabulous...

This was one of the inside the Haga Sophia, another stunning building...

More of the mosaics

Blue mosque, what a building....

Another inside the Haga Sophia

This little one lived inside the Haga Sophia and watched all the people passing with interest..

Mum liked this view through a trellis window...

Statue on Kusadasi, very pretty..

Kusadasi this little one was happily living in the castle, she loved strokes and rolled over for her tummy tickling..

Mum was very upset at first when she saw packs of dogs all over this place. Then she saw a man and woman on a motorcycle delivering huge amounts of food to several feeding stations. At least they are well fed, although its not ideal for them to be roaming around they at least get plenty of food and water and they all look happy little one,s . Mum felt a little better then.

This little one had made herself at home in a basket of toys for sale and was sunbathing...

Mum and dad met lots of animals on their travels. Mums like a magnet for them and spots them everywhere. I have shown you a few of them. BUT.... they always come home to the favourite one.. Little old me... Hope you enjoyed the mixed bag of photo's today... Hugs GJ xx
