On Saturday, mum and dad went to a local stately home and bird sanctuary,Lotherton Hall. the weather was beautiful and it was so nice to walk around the grounds. They have beautiful gardens and grounds. There is also a deer park, the deers were all hiding somewhere and mum and dad did not get to see them this time.
They have built an into Africa enclosure, you can walk round with all the birds walking and flying free.
Mum and dad did not go into the house today as it was too nice a day to be indoors, they will do that another time.
The owners of old loved their dogs and took them abroad and everywhere they went, There is a pet cemetary with all the pets names on.
On the way back to the car dad spotted the stragest tree, it looked like a giant King Kong about to squash the chapel. Check out the pictures. The moon was also shining through the sunshine, which added to the picture.
After all the walking around, mum and dad went back to the car which was parked right in the grounds and sat in the fold up chairs for a couple of hours to chill out. With an ice cream to cool down of course.
