Hello everyone.. hope you all had a great New Year's eve and that the new year will bring many good things to all my friends... Mum was on nights all during the new year and had a very busy new years eve with so many mixed emotions. From seeing a face full of smiles because a friendly face appeared just when it was needed.A laughing embarrassed face because someone had fallen after a small drinky to bring in the new year. So many calls that night but one that will stick in the mind.. Everyone outside and around celebrating the new Year and fireworks popping all around, but a very different one for one elderly couple couple with mum holding the hand of a very ill man and his very afraid wife while waiting for the ambulance that mum had just called. Theirs was going to be a new year with a very unwelcome start.. But they were both saying thank you for this small comfort.. A sobering thought.. we must so count our blessings.Today is our Nicholas bean's 2nd birthday..
Happy Birthday great grandson bean..
Mum and dad couldn't get to see him today because of the silly thing called work but he got a nice package in the post from them and we send our love..
