When we were in Oxford recently, our friend Diane from One True Colours showed us her favourite cake shop. Diane features these cakes on her blog all the time. Mum went in and bought a small one, she kept it for dad on his birthday. Dad is a chocoholic so it was fitting to get one with a chocolate rose for love.

It is so cold here today. At the moment just on freezing and going to be well below freezing tonight. ( poor mum is on nights ) The crisp bitter cold weather made the moon stand out very bright. Here it is just emerging..
